Registration Service fees

Payments to the Register Office can be made in three ways:

  • Online - book and pay for selected services online with a debit or credit card
  • Telephone - book and pay for services over the telephone with a debit or credit card
  • In person - book and pay for selected services with a debit or credit card

Credit card payments are subject to a handling fee when used online or over the telephone. There is no handling fee for debit card payments.

Fees from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

Ceremony in The Loggia Room at York House, Twickenham:

  • The fee includes two certificates and the attendance of Registration Officers
  • Room capacity includes all attendees including the couple, witnesses, guests, and children, and cannot be exceeded.
  • You have the use of the room for the ceremony only

Ceremony in any other Room in York House, Twickenham:

  • The fee includes two certificates and the attendance of Registration Officers
  • The fee does not include the cost of the room and facilities charged by the venue
  • Each room has a different maximum capacity (reduced to six during COVID recovery)

Ceremony at any other Licensed Venue in the borough:

  • The fee includes two certificates and the attendance of Registration Officers
  • The fee does not include the cost of the room and facilities charged by the venue

Simple Ceremony at York House Twickenham:

  • The fee includes two certificates, the use of the room and the attendance of Registration Officers
  • The room is for a maximum of two guests only, plus the couple

Certificates

Certificates can be collected or posted (standard service sent second class, priority service sent first class). We cannot accept responsibility for certificates posted. You may choose to pay for Special Delivery, (see miscellaneous fees).

If you choose to collect your certificate, we will phone you to advise when ready for collection. The processing times do not include the posting time.
