They are organised by external companies and participation is at your own risk.
To hold fitness activities in parks and open spaces you need to apply for a permit.

Age UK Richmond runs an hour long Tai Chi class for over 50s on Ham Village Green.

Buggyfit is a safe and effective full body work-out for postnatal mums, where mums can bring their babies in their buggies. The classes include cardio, full body strength and toning and are a great way for new mums to meet one another while exercising.

Buggyfit is the best way to get back in shape after your new arrival; it is not only a great workout but is fun and social too! You can start our classes as soon as you have had your GP checkup (between 6 to 12 weeks) so we have lots of mums of different postnatal stages. We can adopt various exercises to suit your recovery and each person works at her own fitness level. It is a great way to get fit, chat to other local mums and give your baby some fresh air, no childcare needed!

Cycle skills training for young riders wishing to improve their confidence and bike handling. The sessions are fun and dynamic with interaction between coaches and riders throughout the exercises. Some competitive activities are also included. Sessions cost £2 per rider per session.

A Group Fitness class that is fun, social and suitable for parents, where they can bring their children of any age. Instructors have specialist training in pre- and post-natal and provide safe and varied exercises suitable for both the novice and experienced exerciser.
