They are organised by external companies and participation is at your own risk.
To hold fitness activities in parks and open spaces you need to apply for a permit.

Age UK Richmond runs an hour long Tai Chi class for over 50s on Ham Village Green. Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
Sessions take place on Fridays from 10 to 11am during June, July and August. Sessions cost £5. Contact Susan Hollins for further information:

Outdoor fitness sessions that are fun and invigorating amongst a great group of people. The best full body workout you can achieve within an hour incorporating cardio, strength and core exercise for all levels of fitness.

Outdoor fitness classes that are serious fun for everyone! Don’t think you are up to the challenge? Well don’t worry, as you don't need to be super fit to join our ranks. We cater for all levels of fitness by dividing the class into ability groups. We'll provide the expertise and the motivation – you just have to turn up. There really is no better way to burn 700 calories!

Buggyfit is a safe and effective full body work-out for postnatal mums, where mums can bring their babies in their buggies. The classes include cardio and full body strength/toning and are a great way for new mums to meet one another while exercising.

Halfbacks Rugby is a fun and exciting new concept designed to teach children aged 2 – 6 the values of rugby union, enabling them to develop their confidence, physical and social skills, and ultimately be kids! Buggyfit is the best way to get back in shape after your new arrival; it is not only a great workout but is fun and social too! You can start our classes as soon as you have had your GP checkup (between 6-12 weeks) so we have lots of mums of different postnatal stages. We can adopt various exercises to suit your recovery and each person works at her own fitness level. It is a great way to get fit, chat to other local mums and give your baby some fresh air, no childcare needed!

Cycle skills training for young riders wishing to improve their confidence and bike handling. The sessions are fun and dynamic with interaction between coaches and riders throughout the exercises. Some competitive activities are also included. Sessions cost £1 per rider per session.

A Group Fitness class that is fun, social and suitable for parents, where they can bring their children of any age. Instructors have specialist training in pre and post natal and provide safe and varied exercises suitable for both the novice and experienced exerciser.
