A fragment of old wilderness known in the 18th century as a haunt of highwaymen, nowadays this is a grassed area with a children’s playground.
About the park
There is play equipment for children under 13 as well as older children, including a wheelchair accessible roundabout and interactive play panels. A small wooded area at the back of the playground provides a sanctuary for wildlife.
Outdoor Gym – This site has a large calisthenics rig, air skier, and spinning bike.
The rest of Hounslow Heath is managed by Hounslow Council's Parks team.
Visiting the park
Hounslow Heath is accessible at all times. The nearest train station is Whitton, and the area is also served by the bus routes 110 and 111.

All council-managed parks and open spaces are covered by Public Space Protection Orders and formal byelaws, to help us reduce antisocial behaviour and breaches of dog control orders.
