Help using RBdigital

RBdigital offers free full-colour digital magazines for library members. They can be accessed any time on desktops, mobile devices and apps.

Our collection of popular digital magazines includes both new and backlist titles with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits.

New name, same great magazines

Zinio for Libraries became RBdigital on 28 June 2017.

Users will have 60 days to migrate to the new app. Instructions are outlined on this page.

Getting started on RBdigital

To access eMagazines you need to be a member of Richmond upon Thames Library service and have a fully registered library or Richmond card.

  1. Go to our RBdigital platform
  2. Click 'Create New Account' in the top right hand corner of the magazine collection page
  3. Enter your details, create a password and click 'Create Account' Please note that the email address you enter and the password you create will be required for each subsequent logon to the RBdigital website or the app
  4. Your account is now active. You will be sent a welcome email to confirm the account has been created

The collection is now ready for you to browse and checkout issues of your favourite magazine titles!

Please note that this is a separate account from your library account and it is created to select, store and access your library magazines.

Using the app

You must create your account on the RBdigital website before you login to the app.

  1. Download the Zinio for Libraries app for Apple or Android
  2. You now need to enter your username which will be the email address you used when you created the account
  3. Enter your password which you created when you made the RBdigital account

Once logged in you will see all the magazines that are available to checkout. Tap on the cover to see more information and find back issues. Tap checkout to download and read.
