The People’s Book Prize is the first nationwide book competition to be judged by the people.
Members of the public will vote for their favourite books on The People’s Book Prize website or at their local library. There will be no other judges involved in the selection of winners and all the competing titles will be from independent publishers only.
The People's Book Prize website will list each month’s chosen titles, monitor which books are winning the public’s votes and link to the websites of participating libraries, publishers and booksellers.
Each month there will be a winner from the three categories: fiction, non-fiction and children’s literature and all winners go forward as a finalist in the People’s Book Prize of the Year.
