Existing doorways that facilitate access for people with disabilities should be maintained and be made no worse as a result of a replacement glazing installation.
All buildings - doors
Thresholds - In cases where existing doors have level thresholds that facilitate access for people with disabilities, particularly those that use a wheelchair, any replacement doors should ensure that level thresholds are maintained.
Door Widths - The replacement of a door should not make the unobstructed width any worse than the existing width or 800 mm whichever is the lesser.
