New online course booking system
Richmond Children’s Workforce Development has a new online course booking system called CPD Online – this has replaced the previous system.

1. Logging in
The majority of delegates will already have an account, and usernames and passwords will have been sent out to you via e-mail.
If you do not already have an account you can set this up when you first visit the portal.
2. Select your relevant sector
When you have logged into to the new system, just click on the sector that best fits your role (e.g. Early Years, Education).
3. Complete/update your details
Please check carefully, as we will use these details to contact you with course information. Your account details can be viewed and updated on My CPD Online on the menu bar. You will also find details of courses you have attended since September 2013 and any future courses booked in this page.
4. Search and book online
There are many ways to browse/search for courses, e.g. using the Event Calendar, quick name search, full Search Events menu with multiple options.
If you are a manager we can assign you extra access, so please get in touch and ask for more details.
Summary of user functionality
- Search and view course information – including available spaces.
- Book a place or be added to waiting list.
- Request alerts by email of new events.
- View details of events due to attend and events attended.
- Download course handouts and certificates.
- Print training catalogues.
- Complete training evaluations and impact questions online.
