Children's workforce induction

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames recognises the importance of a good induction programme to ensure that those working with children, young people and their families have the right skills and knowledge to improve outcomes for children and young people.

This induction aims to provide all those working with children, young people and families with:

• A clear understanding of  the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames’ vision with regards to children, young people and families
• Greater confidence and clarity
• An outline of essential knowledge and skills
• A level of standardisation
• Safeguarding awareness Level 1 - E-learning
• Introduction to Data Protection - E-learning
• Information Sharing - E-learning
• Introduction to Equality and Diversity

You will need to print and fill out the Induction Checklist(pdf, 24KB) to record your progress.

You will start with a short induction film that includes Richmond’s mission and will give you an overview of some of the people and places within the borough.

After the induction film, please use the links below to register for each of the E learning modules. You will receive log in details within 5 working days.
