This free four session course is an exciting opportunity for families to learn together about their local community, and join us to become History Explorers!
My Richmond is a month-long course taking place on consecutive Saturday mornings, 10.30am to 12.30pm at Castelnau Library starting on 24 February.
Each week we will explore a different aspect of our local history, slowly building up, a model of our local area, as well as our knowledge of the rich heritage around us. The course will look at Richmond's past and present with a fun mix of storytelling along with creative activities and games. Everyone can find a way to engage with the course at their own level so all children under 11 are welcome.
We will provide materials, so all you need to do is show up ready to do some creative and historical exploration!
Each week will focus on a different theme; together building up a broad picture of the heritage of the local area.
Sessions take place at Castelnau Library on:
The course is free, however we suggest booking your place for all 4 classes with us as places are limited.
