Important note
Due to a software problem, the date permission expires for applications decided on or after 24 August 2005 is showing an additional two years. This will be corrected in the next software upgrade. In the meantime please deduct two years from the displayed date.

Planning applications (scanned)
You can search for current and old applications (since October 2003) to view drawings and documentation. This is updated daily but there may be a 5 to 10 day delay due to transit times of documents to and from the scanning centre.

Appeals Monthly List
There are six monthly summary lists to show which appeals have been lodged and which have been decided. This is updated daily.

The Planning Inspectorate also link to Development Control Services Limited who can supply copies of any appeal decisions from 1982 to the present. Their Compass facility offers comprehensive research and advice on planning appeal decisions with particular planning issues, development types, locations, dates etc allowing you to find precedents and spot trends easily.
Planning Committee agendas
The Planning Committee decides on planning applications, enforcement reports and tree preservation orders that have been referred to it. Not every planning application necessarily goes before the Committee. Senior Council Officers decide many applications under delegated powers.
