Circus skills, face painting, massage and henna body art are all on the agenda for a family day of cultural activities at the Ham Youth Centre on 30 June.
The event, which is organised by the centre, in partnership with Ham Multi-Cultural Women’s group, aims to bring the community together to shed light on the importance on different cultures as well as health and wellbeing. There will be something for all the family including workshops on music producing, film making, graffiti art and many sporting activities.
Cllr Christine Percival, Strategic Cabinet Member for Education, Youth and Children’s Services said:
“Everyone needs to take a break from the daily grind and this event will offer many local families the chance to have fun together. There’s something for everyone, from a relaxing massage to face painting and graffiti so every member of the family should be kept happy. It’s also a free event, with food and drink included, so I encourage the whole of the family to come along and enjoy this day out. “
Happy Soul Family Fun Day will be running from 1.00-4.00pm on Saturday 30 June at the Ham Youth Centre, Petersham.
