An afternoon with a Masterchef at Twickenham Library
Local actress turned chef, Shobu Kapoor, will be sharing her insights and experiences from her time on “Eastenders” and “Celebrity Masterchef 2011” at Twickenham Library on Saturday 25 February 2012.
Kapoor, who starred in ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ and is fondly remembered as Gita from ‘Eastenders’, will be at Twickenham Library to discuss the highlights of her career and offer advice and tips to any aspiring actors or chefs.
Cllr Pamela Fleming, Strategic Cabinet Member for Community, Business and Culture, said: “Shobu Kapoor is our very own local celebrity, I am sure she will have many fascinating stories from her successful career in acting and also her recent experience on ‘Celebrity Masterchef’.
“I would like to encourage residents and particularly those with an interest in drama and of course food, to attend this event as I am sure it will be most enjoyable.”
