Community and Police Partnership (CPP)
The Community and Police Partnership (CPP) was established in 1986. It aims to facilitate cooperation and communication between local Police and the community. The CPP Constitution(pdf, 32KB) establishes its independence from the Police and Council, so that it can provide an authentic voice for local people. For further information, download a copy of the 2012 CPP leaflet(pdf, 53KB).
The CPP organises a number of projects each year to encourage dialogue between the Police and hard-to-reach or vulnerable groups. These include an annual Youth Crime Conference, Datalink Canisters and promotion of the Met's Language Line(pdf, 1181KB).
We welcome new members to join the CPP
