Registration service fees
Payments to the Register Office can be made in three ways:
- Online - book and pay for selected services online.
- Cash or card – in person at The Register Office.
- Cheques - made payable to “London Borough of Richmond upon Thames”
Credit card payments are subject to a handling fee. There is no handling fee for debit card payments.

Certificates
Certificates can be collected or posted (standard service sent second class, priority service sent first class). We cannot accept responsibility for certificates posted. You may choose to pay for Special Delivery, (see miscellaneous fees).
If you choose to collect your certificate, we will phone you to advise when ready for collection. The processing times do not include the posting time.
