Registration of births

All births must be registered within 42 days. You will need to make an appointment before attending this office.

If your baby was born in a local hospital please contact the appropriate office:

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames does not have a maternity hospital, so most births registered here will have occurred at home.

If your baby was born in the borough, the birth will be registered here at Richmond upon Thames Register Office.
