About the Community Safety Partnership
The Community Safety Partnership (CSP) involves the Council Community Safety Team and local Police working with other local organisations to reduce crime and disorder within the Borough. The Partnership was formed in 1998 in response to the Crime and Disorder Reduction Act.
Partner organisations include:
- Community and Police Partnership (CPP)
- Ethnic Minorities Advocacy Group (EMAG)
- London Fire Brigade
- London Probation Trust
- NHS Richmond
- Richmond Housing Partnership (RHP)
- Youth Offending Service (YOS)
Community Safety Partnership Plan
The Community Safety Strategy Group
(pdf, 43KB) is a small group of partner representatives. It holds regular meetings
(pdf, 56KB) to manage delivery of the Year Two Community Safety Partnership Plan for 2011-2014
(pdf, 116KB).
The Plan is based on the results of an annual Strategic Assessment
(pdf, 460KB) (or analysis of crime reduction priorities) followed by consultation at a Face the People meeting.
