Design and Access Statements must to be submitted for all planning applications (except home extensions unless they are in a Conservation Area and also change of use).

Submitting online through the Planning Portal

The Planning Portal is the UK Government's planning resource. Use this site to learn about the planning system, apply for planning permission, find out about development near you, appeal against a planning decision and research the latest government policy.

Submit planning applications online through the Planning Portal. You can make payments online by all major debit cards and credit cards (except American Express or Diners cards). Credit card payments are subject to a handling fee. There is no handling fee for debit card payments.
