How do you make sure everyone is treated fairly?
We want to make sure that everyone can use our complaints system and that we treat you fairly when making any complaint about us.
To help us treat you fairly we ask you tell us your:
- ethnic origin
- sexual orientation
- language spoken
- if you are disabled, or have a long term illness
If you are using the complaint form or the online form on the website, these questions are on the forms. If this information is not provided with the original complaint, a monitoring form will be sent to you during the complaints process.
The information you give is confidential. We only use it to check that we treat all groups of people fairly and we do not discriminate against you.
If part of your complaint concerns equalities issues or any form of discrimination, please tell us. We will make sure that this is investigated.
