It's Showtime

Residents and visitors will be treated to a day of show stopping performances on Richmond Riverside as Showtime, the free London outdoor arts festival, comes to the borough on Sunday 22 July.

Featuring dance, mime, music and circus skills, the performances will give locals the chance to see world class entertainment on their doorstep. Renowned international artists such as Avanti, Les Grooms, Plunge Boom and Invisible People will be stealing the show.

Cllr Pamela Fleming, Richmond Council’s Strategic Cabinet Member for Community, Business and Culture said:

“This is just one of the many great events happening in the borough this summer. This excellent outdoor show will feature some fantastic artists and jaw-dropping events. It’s such a great way to welcome international visitors and put on a great show for local people. I encourage everyone to come along to this free performance for all the family.“

Showtime is part of the Mayor of London’s London 2012 Festival, a series of performances celebrating London 2012 and the Olympic Games. Richmond’s Summer Festival will also include Mini-Fest, World Music Weekend and Dear Lido, a week of performances in the newly reopened Diamond Jubilee Gardens.
