Contestants are invited for a testing time at a charity quiz on Friday, 22 February, to be run by the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames.
Cllr Marc Cranfield-Adams is calling for individuals and teams of up to eight to book their place at the fundraising event, sponsored by the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington.
All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s two charities, Diabetes UK (Richmond and Twickenham Group) and Stepping on Out, a Teddington-based organisation run by people with learning disabilities.
The quiz will take place in the Clarendon Hall, York House, from 7.30pm and tickets are £5 each. Light refreshments will be served and contestants are invited to bring their own drinks.
The Mayor said:
“Whether you are a quiz regular or fancy a fun night out with some friends, come along and see how your general knowledge measures up.
“All money raised from the event will help swell the coffers of two worthy charities that bring enormous benefits to the community.
“Book early to avoid disappointment.”
Participants are asked to book their place ahead of the event. For more information or to reserve tickets please call the Mayor’s Office on 020 8891 7163 or email mayors.office@richmond.gov.uk.
