Richmond Lending Library, Little Green, will be closed from 21 - 25 April to allow essential work to be carried out.
Cllr John Coombs, Cabinet Member for Youth, Culture and Leisure on Richmond Council, said:
“This week-long closure will enable us to carry out essential work to tackle the heat and ventilation problems which occur at the library during the summer months.
“We apologise for the disruption but this temporary closure is, I’m afraid, unavoidable.
“In the meantime, I would direct library users to the other local branches, all of which will have a full range of services available.”
The nearest alternative libraries are Garfield Road, Twickenham; Sheen Lane Centre, East Sheen; Ham Street in Ham and The Reference Library at the Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue.
