Personal Information Policy and validity of information given (terms and conditions)

If you are making an online school admission, please ensure you have read and understood the Personal Information Policy and validity of information given page.

The benefits of applying online

Online admissions are managed through a secure London-wide portal.

Online admissions (also known as "e-admissions") will:

  • Speed up the application process
  • Enable you to search for schools
  • Enable online validation of data, thereby minimising the likelihood of data input errors
  • Reduce paperwork
  • Reduce postage costs and
  • Enable parents and carers to find out the outcome of their application by logging on to the secure portal

You can still apply in the traditional way, on a paper application form, if you wish, but applying online will give you peace of mind that your form has been received. If you apply online, you will be able to log in to find out the outcome of your application rather than wait for a letter to arrive in the post.

Parents and carers must read the relevant admissions brochure before making an application.

For primary admissions, if you want to apply for a reception class place for your child in a Richmond Borough infant or primary school, it does not matter which borough or county you live in.

However, if you want to apply for a Year 7 place for your child in a state secondary school in Richmond Borough or any other borough or county, you must apply to the council in whose area your child lives. If you wish to state preferences for schools outside your home council's area, your home council will co-ordinate your application by exchanging data with the councils in whose areas those schools are located.

Supplementary information forms

For secondary schools: the Christ's School supplementary information form is available here:

Christ's supplementary form(pdf, 25KB).

For primary schools: supplementary information forms for most Richmond Borough church schools are available on the Online primary school admission applications page. If the form is not available online, please contact the particular school to obtain the form.
