A beginner's guide to family history

Know Your Place heritage festival are holding two events on how to discover the past in the most unexpected of places.

On Wednesday 13 September and Tuesday 19 September, at the Local Studies Library and Archive, staff will guide guests through all the resources available in the Local Studies collection.

You will learn how to follow clues and discover information in unexpected places and discover the lives of a family who lived in the area for over 200 years.
