Online discussion about seasonal vaccinations for the immunosuppressed

Community news on behalf of South West London NHS | 13 November 2023

South West London NHS want to understand why people who are immunosuppressed choose to get vaccinated, or why they might hesitate. Share your views on 15 November and receive a £30 voucher.

Your thoughts about the flu and Covid-19 seasonal vaccine and your reasons for either getting vaccinated or not vaccinating are essential. This will help ensure everyone has the right information to make informed decisions about vaccinations.

The online discussion with a local healthcare professional will take place on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 15 November from 6 to 7.15pm.

To register your interest, or for more information, email swlvaccinecomms@swlondon.nhs.uk or call 020 3922 1498. You can also have any questions about vaccines answered.

If you are unable to access Microsoft Teams and would like to provide your input, please still get in touch with SWL NHS to discuss the best way to get involved.

By hosting the session, SWL NHS aim to:

  • Understand why people who are immunosuppressed choose to get vaccinated or why they might hesitate to vaccinate themselves against Covid-19
  • Know more about attitudes towards the flu and Covid-19 seasonal vaccination - to understand your concerns and apprehensions about vaccinations
  • Learn what information would help to make an informed choice

The feedback will help to ensure that everyone has access to the best information about the Covid-19 seasonal vaccine.
