Christmas presents needed for young care leavers

Cocoon, Care After Care are holding their annual Christmas Day Dinner for young care leavers to celebrate their resilience and create positive memories.
On 25 December, 50 young adults who grew up in care will be brought together for a very special event to ensure that they do not spend the day alone and will be treated to the Christmas they deserve.
All those attending on the day are aged between 18 to 25 and do not have family they can spend Christmas Day with.
As well as being provided with a delicious chef-prepared Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, entertainment and a hamper full of essentials, they will also go home with a sack full of carefully chosen high-quality presents.
