Celebrate the opening of Library of Things

7 March 2024

On Wednesday 13 March, Patch Twickenham will be hosting a drop-in event to celebrate the launch of the community focused lending project.

The free event will be hosting interactive sessions, supplying some light refreshments and giving live demoes of useful Library of Things items.

Join the team on Wednesday between 3.30 to 7pm and receive a 25% discount on your first reservation.

The Library of Things aims to help people save money and reduce waste by affordably renting out useful items like drills, sound systems and sewing machines. It also helps people share practical skills like DIY and repair with others in their neighbourhood.

Guests can drop in to enjoy the range of things available to rent and discover other local initiatives that can help you save money, cut waste and live more sustainably.

Local seamstress Laura, founder of Thread Club, will be on hand to show you some sewing machine basics.

There will also be demonstrations taking place by the lockers, where you'll be able to ask questions and find out about this exciting new local lending service.

A full list of things to rent is available to view on the Library of Things website
