New year, new good intentions

Community news on behalf of Richmond CVS | 10 January 2024

This year, find out how you could volunteer with help from the friendly Richmond Volunteer Service.

If you’ve been thinking about making positive changes, helping others is something that could fit the bill, for both you and those that you assist.

Whether you want to use your existing skills or do something completely different, Richmond CVS is bound to have something of interest, that also fits with your time, amongst the huge range of local charities and good causes.

Some of the latest opportunities you may find in the Richmond CVS newsletter include those with animals, young people, finance, teaching, comms, cookery, office admin, retail, the environment, sport and more.

If you’d like to get the newsletter directly into your inbox, you can register with the Volunteer Service and receive a monthly read of new suggestions.

The team are ready to offer ideas and support in-person as you search for a new volunteer role.

As well as browsing their database, this month you can meet up with them in Teddington and Twickenham, or you can arrange an individual appointment. There’s no pressure, it’s just a great informal way to find out more and get started.

If your curiosity has been piqued, make a date to drop in, send an email on volunteer@richmondcvs.org.uk or give the team a call on 020 8843 7940.
