Free online ‘tech check’ workshop for parents and carers

Community news on behalf of Richmond Borough Mind | 16 January 2024

Are you concerned about the tech use of someone you love? Parents, carers, and those who work with children, young people and vulnerable people within our borough are invited to attend a Connect to Tech workshop, hosted by Richmond Borough Mind.

If you are worried about the amount of time spent on social media, fraud or any tech or digital issue, register to attend this free online workshop

Taking place online on Wednesday 24 January 2024 from 6.30 to 8.30pm, the workshop will:

  • Explore the impact of technology on young and vulnerable people’s mental health and well-being
  • Enhance your awareness of the dangers of internet and social media use
  • Help you feel more confident having conversations about concerns to help keep loved ones safe

Many factors play a part in children’s and young people’s mental health and well-being. One factor that can sometimes be tricky to navigate is the use of technology.

If you have any questions or need assistance registering for the workshop, please email the team at training@rbmind.org.
