Hampton

1391 people who responded to the All in One survey lived in Hampton.

Around 91% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 74% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 38% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 35% - Public transport
  • 26% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 24% - Library services

The things that most needed improving in your area included:

  • 34% - Condition of pavements
  • 30% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 25% - Condition of roads
  • 22% - Provision of parking
  • 20% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour

Hampton Hill

315 people who responded to the All in One survey lived in Hampton Hill.

Around 93% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 75% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 42% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 39% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 28% - Public transport
  • 23% - Education and schools

The things that most needed improving in your area included:

  • 47% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 31% - Condition of pavements
  • 24% - Provision of parking
  • 17% - Condition of roads
  • 16% - Affordability of local housing
  • 16% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour

Your Village Planning Event

Eighty people attended the All in One area planning meeting for Hampton and Hampton Hill on Saturday 25 June 2011 in Hampton Academy.

Residents were invited to review the results from Hampton and Hampton Hill. They also had the chance to share ideas with local Councillors, officers and other local organisations such as the Police and local Business Association about what could be done together to address the issues.
