East Sheen

979 people who responded to the All in One survey lived in East Sheen.

Around 95% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 80% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 44% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 33% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 28% - Public transport
  • 21% - Education and schools
  • 21% - Library services

The things that most needed improving in your area included:

  • 49% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 30% - Condition of pavements
  • 25% - Condition of roads
  • 24% - Provision of parking
  • 21% - Education and schools

Mortlake

291 people who responded to the All in One survey lived in Mortlake.

Around 90% of you were satisfied with your area as a place to live.

The things that were most important in making it a good place to live included:

  • 78% - Local parks and open spaces
  • 42% - Level of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • 39% - Public transport
  • 33% - Shopping in your local high street
  • 21% - Education and schools
  • 20% - Library services

The things that most needed improving in your area included:

  • 46% - Traffic and/or levels of congestion
  • 25% - Provision of parking
  • 23% - Condition of pavements
  • 20% - Amount of litter and/or cleanliness of streets
  • 20% - Affordability of local housing

Your village planning event

Over 200 people attended the second All in One area planning meeting for East Sheen and Mortlake on Saturday 21 May 2011 in the Sheen Lane Centre.

Residents were invited to review the results from East Sheen and Mortlake. They also had the chance to share ideas with local Councillors, officers and other local organisations such as the Police and local Business Association about what could be done together to address the issues.
