Intensive day centres

Intensive day centres are facilities for people who need long-term therapy or support, rehabilitation or recuperation, either for dementia or for physical disability or frailty.

The centres are run by the Council and the Richmond and Twickenham Primary Care Trust. To attend a centre you will need to be assessed and referred by a social care or health care professional, such as your doctor or care manager.

If you think you could benefit from an intensive day care centre, please contact Adult and Community Social Services and ask about a care assessment.

The four centres are:

Tangley Hall talks

Talks of special interest to the families and carers of older people(pdf, 843KB). These talks are open to all members of the public. Come at 5.30 pm for light refreshments. Talks commence at 6.00 pm sharp. We regret that latecomers cannot be admitted.
