The Headteacher and trustees for The Richmond upon Thames School (RTS) have begun the hunt for the new school’s senior teaching staff, who will take up post this autumn.
The school, opening in September 2017, will be part of the Education and Enterprise Campus on the existing Richmond upon Thames College site.
The Richmond upon Thames School (RTS) will be for 11 to 16 year-olds. It will be co-educational, non-selective and non-faith based and admit five forms of entry (150 children) per year.
The school will be governed by a Trust made up of members from Richmond upon Thames College, Harlequins, Haymarket Media Group, Waldegrave School, Achieving for Children and Richmond Council.

The new teachers will work with Kelly Dooley, the school’s Headteacher and two newly appointed Assistant Heads to welcome the first cohort in 2017. Together, they will create a highly effective school, designed from the start to prepare its young people for the realities of the 21st century.
Candidates for the post must provide leadership that inspires and motivates pupils, other teaching colleagues and all other members of the community.
