The ‘rightgear’ campaign.

In January 2010, Richmond Council launched the rightgear campaign with businesses in the Borough. This campaign was formed in partnership with 7 other London Boroughs and Transport for London.

Without the right clothing, minor collisions can quickly turn into serious injury.

Cheap to run, less congestion - it's no wonder motorcycles, scooters and mopeds have become increasingly popular in London.

In a collision with another vehicle, however, the rider will almost always come off worse. And that can be a real pain in more ways than one.

Come off your scooter or moped, even at low speeds, and you'll hit the road with the same effect as sliding across a giant grater.

Wearing proper protective clothing can make a BIG difference. It won't cost an arm and a leg...but it could save your skin.

Visit www.rightgearlondon.com to register your company for the free E-zine for employees.
