Cycling courses for adults

The Safety Education Team provide cycling courses for adults who live or work in the Borough and wish to either learn to cycle from scratch or improve their confidence and skills when cycling on the road. All courses take place in Twickenham during spring and summer evenings.

There are 3 types of courses:

• Level 1: Wobblers and non-riders
• Level 2: Riding on the road - ready but needing support
• One-to-one training

Whilst designed to be mainly practical, the courses also cover some theory and basic cycle maintenance. The meeting point for each course will be the Richmond Adult Community College, Clifden Road, Twickenham TW1 4LT (visit our location and directions page for more information). Each course costs £15 but is free for those on means tested benefits.
