Borough cycling competition

Each year our instructors select the best riders from each course (including holiday courses) and nominate them to participate in the heats and, if successful the final of the annual event.

This year the title of Borough Cycling Champion went to eleven year old Leon Devlin, from Twickenham and a former pupil at Chase Bridge Primary School. First prize was a brand new bike, generously donated by Moores Cycles of Twickenham.

The runner up was George Wells, a former pupil at Heathfield Junior School in Whitton and third place went to Gus Lambri formerly of the Russell School in Ham.

They were presented with their prizes by the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Marc Cranfield Adams, a keen cyclist himself.

All the finalists were presented with a medallion and a goody bag by Councillor Cranfield Adams.
