Reporting footway and carriageway defects

The Highway Management Group undertake inspections of all public highway (with the exception of the Trunk Roads A316 and A205) on a frequency from 1 month to 12 monthly based on the usage of the road. From time to time it is inevitable that significant defects requiring attention will occur between these inspections.

If any serious defect such as a broken access cover, dislodged paving/kerb or large pothole is observed then please use the Street Scene fault reporting form or contact the Highways Support Team (telephone 0845 612 2660). Each report will be inspected and appropriate action taken.
