RingGo cashless parking

RingGo cashless parking is an alternative to using coins at a Pay and Display ticket machine. It lets you pay for your Pay and Display sessions from your phone, using a credit or debit card. You can register up to five different phone numbers and pre-book sessions online.

RingGo cashless is separate from the resident visitor permits by RingGo – ‘Pay As You Go’ (PAYG). If you need to book or register for resident visitor parking, see the visitor permits pages.

Why use RingGo cashless?

  • Booking a session takes about 30 seconds.
  • There's no need to carry change.
  • No tickets to display in the vehicle, wardens handsets are updated wirelessly.
  • You can use your account anywhere in the country where you see the RingGo symbol on Pay and Display machines along with a location code.

  • Parking sessions can be ‘topped up’ via mobile if you’re unable to return to the vehicle before the session ends (subject to bay parking conditions, e.g. no return within an hour).
  • Calls to 020 3046 0010 are charged at a local rate.
  • When calling from a mobile with an inclusive minutes bundle, the call to RingGo is usually covered by these minutes.

Registering for the first time?

To use RingGo, you must have access to a phone, preferably a mobile, with caller ID enabled. There are two ways to set up an account:

Register by phone when you park

Call 020 3046 0010 when parking, ensuring caller ID is enabled. Using voice recognition, the system will take the following details:

  • Vehicle registration, make and colour.
  • The location code (see using RingGo cashless parking).
  • The duration that the vehicle will be parked for.
  • Payment card details.

The initial call may take a couple minutes, but subsequent calls will be far shorter - as the system remembers your information, asking you to confirm the details you've already entered.

Payment details are not disclosed on subsequent calls, the system only asks you to confirm the last 3 digits on the back of the card you used. You can also chose to enter new payment card details at this stage.

After you have booked your first session, you will receive a PIN number by text enabling you to login online, where you can:

  • Add up to five numbers to your account.
  • Print off VAT receipts.
  • Upload proofs for discounts if you’re a resident.
