Trehern Road CPZ extension
Introduction
The deadline for representations to these proposals has now been extended to Friday 26 March 2010.
In March/April 2009 the Council undertook a review of the Mortlake Community Parking Zone (CPZ). Consultation was also undertaken with residents and businesses of uncontrolled roads in adjacent areas and results showed support for a CPZ in Trehern Road.
As this road is situated outside the East Sheen CPZ, the Cabinet Member for Traffic, Transport and Parking approved the formal advertisement of proposals to extend the East Sheen CPZ to Trehern Road. The East Sheen CPZ (zone ES) operates Monday to Friday, 10am to 4.30pm. The Cabinet Member further approved proposals to implement double yellow lines in South Worple Way between its junctions with Alexandra Road and White Hart Lane in order to alleviate road safety conditions caused by congestion and poor sight lines. Further to this, the Council are also proposing double yellow lines at the junctions with Princes Road, again to improve road safety.
