Traders Pay As You Go account (PAYG)
A Trader Pay As You Go (PAYG) account enables you to pay for your on-site parking by phone, as you require it.
Three steps to setting up your account:
1. Check your eligibility
- The property must be within a community parking zone (legally known as controlled parking zone)
- The property where the work is being carried out is not eligible, under the Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended). View a list of properties not eligible
- You must have a phone, preferably a mobile, which has caller ID enabled.
2. Apply
- Application form for a Traders PAYG account
(pdf, 28KB) - No payment is taken at time of application
- Proofs will be requested when applying, whether you are the resident or trader, to ensure you have a bona fide reason for parking at the works site within a community parking zone. Only send in copies as these will not be returned, they will be securely destroyed
3. Account activation
- Activation can take up to five working days, but is usually far sooner. We will email you to let you know when your account is active (or by post if you didn’t applied online)
- When you book your first session, you will receive a text with a pin number enabling you to access your account online.
Already use Traders Pay as you go?
If you already have a Traders PAYG account, and would like to book a parking session, call 020 3046 0005 from a nominated phone number.
Trader’s PAYG accounts are set up and managed by Parking Services and run through RingGo.
