Operational parking permits (carers, non-carers, clergy and teachers)

Operational permits are issued for one year, and four types are available:
- Clergy
- Carers
- Teachers
- Non carers
Any permit issued for all zones should only be used for visiting within the borough, not for parking at your base of operations.
Clergy
- For clergy or church workers whilst on church business
- Free of charge
Carers
- For people who care for a relative or other person resident of a zone
Teachers
- For teachers and classroom assistants in a school with an Approved Travel Plan
- Not valid on weekends if the controlled parking zone is in operation
Non carers
- For people that need to park within a zone to perform their day-to-day duties (nannies, cleaners, private workers)
