Parking correctly

It is important that you park correctly to avoid getting a Penalty Charge Notice.  Potential contraventions are

  • Parked after the expiry of paid for time (pay and display)
  • Parked without clearly displaying a valid pay & display ticket or voucher (pay and display)
  • Parked with payment made to extend the stay beyond initial time (meters; pay and display)
  • Parked in a suspended bay/space or part of bay/space (meters; pay and display)
  • Not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space (meters; pay and display)

Reporting faults

If there is a fault with a machine then you should report it to our fault line on 020 8744 0462.  Where there are no other machines available you will be given a reference to display in your vehicle and will be able to stay for the maximum stay for that parking bay.

Please note that if you do not display a reference and park then you may be liable for a Penalty Charge Notice.

You can not park in a pay and display bay or meter bay if that bay has been suspended, in which case there will be signs indicating this.
