Appeals against Penalty Charge Notices
Please note that appeals against Penalty Charge Notices must by law be made in writing, and should be emailed to parking@richmond.gov.uk or posted to the address above. Written appeals can also be handed in at The Parking Shop.

Parking Enforcement Line
If you see a vehicle which is contravening parking restrictions or your driveway is regularly blocked by parked cars, you can request enforcement by calling our Enforcement Line. Also call this number if you find a parking meter which is out of order.

Twickenham Event Zone enquiries
If you are a resident or visitor to the area and require parking information concerning the Twickenham Event Zone (including a map and zone enforcement dates) please go to the Twickenham Event Days page for more information.

Making a complaint
If you believe you have been treated unfairly or adversely, then please contact us so that appropriate action may be taken.
Examples of complaints may be where:
- A parking attendant or shop staff member has been discourteous, badly presented, aggressive, or has been unable or unwilling to help
- The enforcement of a particular controlled parking area is too stringent / not stringent enough
- The documentation provided by the council is insufficient or confusing.
Please note that if you have a complaint about the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice, then this must go through the standard appeal process, detailed on the Parking fines pages.
