South Twickenham CPZ review

The change in the hours of operation to Monday to Friday, from 10.30am – 2.30pm will come into effect on Monday 15 March 2010.

Following the review consultation of the South Twickenham CPZ (zone E) in June 2009, the Cabinet Member for Traffic, Transport and Parking approved the formal advertisement of proposals to:

  • Continue the operation of the current South Twickenham CPZ and maintain the current hours of control (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 10.30am) in the majority of the zone
  • Change the hours of control for the section of Waldegrave Gardens between Tower Road and Waldegrave Road to operate for 4 hours, Monday to Friday, from 10.30am – 2.30pm.

These proposals are being formally advertised by way of traffic management orders on Friday 27 November 2009. Plans detailing this information will also be available from this date at the Twickenham Library, Garfield Road, Twickenham, at the Council offices, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ

Representations are invited by letter to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ or by email to highwaysandtransport@richmond.gov.uk. The Council is giving five weeks for representations to be received on or by Monday 4 January 2010 due to the holiday period.
