Car parks

There are a number of car parks operated by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

View a map of Council car parks here.

Other private owned and run car parks do exist such as those operated by South West Trains. Information on these can be found on the South West Trains website.

The amount you pay for parking in Council run car parks (excluding the Arragon Road and Paradise Road multi-storey car parks) is based on your vehicle's cylinder capacity if registered before 28 February 2001, or engine CO2 emissions otherwise. The following table shows which ranges correspond to which tariff levels:

Car park tariff charge tiers
Charge Tier Vehicles registered before 28/02/2001 Vehicles registered after 01/03/2001
Standard Cylinder capacities of 2001cc and above CO2 emissions of 186g/Km or above
Medium Cylinder capacities between 1301cc and 2000cc CO2 emissions between 121g/Km and 185g/Km
Low Cylinder capacities of 1300cc or less CO2 emissions of 120g/Km or less

To take advantage of the Medium or Low charge tiers you will need to use a RichmondCard to pay. This is a 'smart' card pre-programmed with your vehicle details and on which you can store funds for parking. More information can be found on the RichmondCard page. If you don't have a RichmondCard then you will be charged at the Standard charge tier.

Residents or businesses interested in purchasing a season ticket should contact the Parking Shop.

The car parks here are listed alphabetically and provide details on car park location, availability and prices.
