Other parking permits

The Council offers other types of parking permit for specific purposes as detailed below.

If you would like to apply for any of these types of permit then you should contact the Parking Shop. Contact information is on the Parking contacts page.

Season Tickets

Various Council run car parks have the facility of season tickets, however, numbers are limited and so a waiting scheme is in operation where demand outstrips supply.

Details on which car parks have season tickets can be found in the Car parks area.

Car Club permits

Companies participating in the Car Club scheme who will be providing vehicles with a 'home' bay within the borough can apply for a Car Club parking permit. The permit will allow parking in the home bay at any time, as well as short-stay parking in resident permit parking bays in all other controlled parking zones in the borough.

You can download the Car Club parking permit application form(pdf, 109KB) or find more details on the Car Clubs page.

Doctors permits

Doctors permits are only valid in doctors permit parking bays of which only limited numbers are available within the borough.

Prices are based on the vehicles CO2 emissions or cylinder capacity, as detailed on the Vehicle banding for parking permits explained page. They are priced per year at twice the Central Twickenham (zone D) Inner area business permits quarterly charge, details of which are on the Zone D non-resident additional guidance document(pdf, 88KB).

If you wish to install doctors permit parking bays close to your surgery then please contact the Council's Transport Planning section.

Church Visitor permits

Churches which experience problems with parking during services due to the local controlled parking zone can be considered for short-stay parking permits for the congregation. Please contact the Council's Parking Contracts section if you would like to apply for this type of permit.
