A weekly inclusive football club for children (over 5 years), young people and adults.
These weekly, fun and lively dance classes are led by Tom from Combination Dance Company and are ideal for developing gross motor skills, flexibility, self expression and confidence.
Younger children need the assistance and support of an adult, parent or carer to get the most out of the class and exercises are planned with this in mind. Parents/carers are asked to wear comfortable clothes to move in. We do have a couple of RISE buddies available to work within this group so if parents/carers are unable to take part in the exercises then please do let us know.
Parents/carers are welcome to stay and watch.
An Easter holiday 5 day course for 14+ years. These are fun sessions run by experienced coaches providing an opportunity to try different canoes & kayaks, learn skills and build confidence on the water.
A stroke improver swimming group for young people aged 8 to 18 years who live or go to school in the borough. Swimmers need to be able to swim a 25m length of the pool unaided.
This is part of our RISE to Shine project.
