The Girl and the Giraffe

  • Date: Sunday 26 March
  • Time: 11am and 2.30pm
  • Location: Old Sorting Office Arts Centre
  • Price: £6 per ticket (under 3 years free)

A charming show featuring puppetry, an enchanting soundscape and beautiful storytelling about friendship, told from a child's perspective.

Performances last 45 minutes (no interval).

Richmond Opera, Joy and Celebration:
Haydn’s Creation and Vivaldi’s Gloria

  • Date: Saturday 25 March
  • Time: 7.30pm
  • Location: The Vineyard Church, Richmond
  • Price: £10 (no booking required)

Haydn’s musical celebration of the creation story offers some of the most optimistic and life-affirming music ever composed. Suffused with symphonic ambition, its inventive use of wind instruments, stunning arias and climatic choruses ensures its continuing popularity amongst audiences worldwide.

Vivaldi’s sacred masterpiece Gloria rightly enjoys a similar love and affection among singers, instrumentalists and audiences.
