Sportshall Athletics Festival report and results 2012

This year’s Sportshall Athletics Festival run by the Richmond Sports Development team was held at Hampton School on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 January 2012

11 small schools on Thursday, and 11 large schools on Friday, competed in the various track and field events. 264 pupils took part in the festival across the two days, all competitors showed great skill in their events and supported their team mates throughout.

Hampton School hosted the festivals and provided some year eight pupils to officiate the events. The students demonstrated enthusiasm and efficiency in their roles.

Medals were presented to the top three placed teams each day:

Thursday – Small school event

• 1^st Bishop Perrin
• 2^nd Marshgate
• 3^rd Sheen Mount

Friday – Large school event

• 1^st St James
• 2^nd Collis
• 3^rd Stanley

St James - large school gold medalists

Stanley - large school bronze medalists
