Sportshall Athletics Festival

Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March 2010

This year’s indoor athletics festival run by the Richmond Sports Development team was held at Hampton School on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March 2010.

23 schools (276 pupils) took part in the festival, which involves adapted track and field events including jumping, throwing and running competitions.

50 year eight pupils from Hampton school were responsible for officiating all of the events across the two days. The students demonstrated enthusiasm and efficiency throughout the competition.

Thursday saw eight small schools and Friday saw fifteen large schools compete to become 2010 champions.
