Boy's Football Festival results 2009

Friday 16 January

Pupils from all 34 of the Borough's primary schools competed in the Competitive Edge Boy’s Football Festival on Friday 16 January 2009 at National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington.

The schools were organised into six groups for the morning session, before being placed into the cup or plate competitions for the afternoon. The top 16 teams qualified for the cup, which led to some close games. In the semi-finals Queens took on Marshgate while Stanley played Hampton Junior. The standard of play was outstanding and an exciting final saw Stanley beat Queens 1-0 to become 2009 champions.
